Green-Honeycreeper Postcard

Birds have always symbolized freedom to me, with their ability to fly anywhere, their beauty, and their endless variety.

This artwork features the small male Green-Honeycreeper, which I decided to draw with green feathers instead of its its typical blue. Apparently the sunlight in its rainforest home often transforms its colours into vibrant green tones, so it can blend more harmoniously with its lush surroundings. A black-masked master of disguise.
